This is the original Sierra Club lawsuit fuling filed with Boulder County. This
ruling upholds the Sierra Club position that the special use permit issued in 1989 for
burning tires is no longer valid. No comment is publicly available from CEMEX at this time.
If CEMEX intends to pursue this project, a broad base of advocacy to oppose the project will
be crucial to stopping them.
