CEMEX SCHEDULES TEST BURN PRIOR TO BOARD of ADJUSTMENT HEARING???...

Dear Neighbors,

We have reason to believe that CEMEX has scheduled the tire test burn for this Monday, November 11th and a Public Meeting for November 14th.

We have not been able to confirm this since it seems everyone at the Board of Health is out of the office today.

This is an interesting turn, if true, because tonight Sierra Club members are testifying in an Appeal before the Board of Adjustment regarding the decision by Graham Billingsley, Land Use Director, to go ahead and let CEMEX burn tires.

Are they putting the cart before the horse?

Please contact Jeff Zayach or the County Commissioners to inquire about the conduct of the Land Use Department and CEMEX.
